The new poolside pizzeria at Villa San Michele, A Belmond Hotel is open from 7.30-10.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings until September 15. Enjoy a casual dinner with a panoramic view as the pool glistens beside you. Savour the Mediterranean antipasti, grill with catch of the day, pasta dishes, and tasty pizza.

From 6pm on August 24, grab a glass for an engaging cocktail evening dedicated to iconic Italian drinks, taking place in the glorious gardens with unparalleled views over Florence. The Art of Mixology is an authentic Italian aperitivo, combining colours, scents and flavours. Price upon consumption.

From 6.30-8pm on September 8, The Colours of Lambrusco is an opportunity to taste wine in the company of Filippo Bartolotta, explorer of the wine world and passionate storyteller. Discover fine wines produced in Emilia Romagna, paired with handmade pasta prepared by the sfogline modenesi – the keepers of this local tradition. The event will be held in English, and costs 40 euro per person.
