Take the Irish Pub Tour in Florence

Led by Irish couple Cormac and Jane, this 2.5-hour tour starts in piazza Santa Maria Novella and takes you on a journey through four of the city’s Irish pubs. The Hard Rock Cafe goes green for Saint Patrick’s Day. Head to piazza della Repubblica on March 17 for a night of good Irish fun. The Shamrock Dance company of the Clover Irish Dance School will entertain guests with a performance of traditional Irish step dancing. While you tap along, enjoy a Guinness bacon jam cheeseburger.

The festival’s main attractions are free and will take place between 7.30pm and midnight. Head to MAD for some magic tricks, The Stellar for stand-up comedy and Floreal for fortune telling, followed by live music and DJ sets at One Eyed Jack, NOF and Ostro. Jameson passports will be distributed during the festival.

Wine + painting at Vino & Vinci

If wine (with a side of arts and crafts!) is your preferred tipple, visit the Vino & Vinci studio (via Guelfa 114) between 7.30 and 10.30pm on St. Patrick’s Day for a night of tasting whilst painting. The team is giving access to their studio for you to have a go at painting anything you like.
