contactless payment system was introduced on buses and trams throughout Florence and Tuscany in March this year. Now, on the occasion of European Mobility Week, the region’s public transport company at – Autolinee Toscane is repeating the same Free Ride scheme that it initiated during the launch of the tap on, tap off scheme. From September 20 to 30, travellers who use a Visa card (physical or using a device) can ride for free (while funds last) thanks to the campaign sponsored by Visa.

Win Super Bowl LIX tickets + five days in New Orleans

During the new Free Ride campaign, Autolinee Toscane is running a competition in collaboration with Visa, which will allow the lucky winner to travel to New Orleans to attend Super Bowl LIX, the 59th edition of American football championship game with the halftime show starring Kendrick Lamar, which will be held on February 9, 2025. A dream trip is up for grabs: two tickets for a five-day stay in a four-star hotel in Louisiana. All travellers have to do is answer the following question in fewer than 1,800 characters: If a tap were enough to travel wherever you want in Tuscany and with whoever you want, where would you go and with whom? To take part, you must be 21 or over, be a legal resident in Italy and have purchased at least one Autolinee Toscane hourly or one-way ticket on board buses and/or the Florence tram in contactless mode, using a Visa credit/debit/prepaid card.
