Summer’s over, and Autunno Fiorentino is here as the City of Florence funds more than 240 cultural events this fall. Concerts, shows and creative workshops are set to delight adults and children alike in piazzas outside the city centre from October 1 to November 30.
Toscana Classica, Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, Teatri d’Imbarco, Il Teatro delle Donne, Stazione Utopia, Fondazione Fabbrica Europa, Filharmonie, Teatro Studio Krypton, Music Pool, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Catalyst, Teatro Puccini and Arca Azzurra are the cultural organizations set to benefit from the city administration’s cultural funding.
English-friendly highlights include evening concerts by Orchestra di Toscana Classica in the various residential neighbourhoods of Florence, live music outside the city centre by Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina and symphonic concerts, chamber concerts and multidisciplinary shows for Musica Diffusa with the aim of bringing music everywhere.
