Francesco Lionetti (via della Spada 48r) marks the 20th anniversary of Luce, one of their best-selling bags, presented this October in an array of 24 colours and in keeping with the original style yet revealing contemporary features.

The company, founded in Florence in 1922 by merchant Francesco Lionetti who worked with leather companies all over the world, specializes in the design and creation of leather and wood accessories for luxury hotels, restaurants, villas and yachts. Representing Made in Italy excellence for more than 100 years, the company lives on in the hands of Francesco’s grandson Giancarlo Marano, and co-owner Cesare Cimei. The recent presentation revealed new features of one of the maison’s most sought-after bags, enhancing its functionality and announcing a range of 24 different colours.

Crafted in genuine calfskin, it has a minimal and compact design yet boasts a spacious interior with a double closure, handle and removable shoulder strap to ensure elegance and comfort. An internal pouch stores personal effects, with exclusively local materials used in the entire manufacturing process, starting from the tannery of which they are co-owner, located in Santa Croce sull’Arno, Pisa.
