The Florentine is pleased to announce that it has joined forces with El Duomo Magazine to print Tuscany’s first printed all-Spanish publication.
Since its digital inception in 2024, El Duomo Magazine has shared the cultural, gastronomic and artistic depths of Tuscany for Spanish-speaking audiences. Now, with this print edition, the publishing project takes a bold step forward in its mission to connect Italy with the world.
“We want this magazine to be a bridge between Tuscany and the Spanish-speaking world. Each page is a love letter to Tuscany written in Spanish for all those who regard this place as their own,” Ruth Claramonte Navarro and Francisco Jaén Martos, founders of El Duomo Magazine.

Publisher and co-founder of The Florentine, Marco Badiani, shares his excitement for this new chapter: “This project is another step in our mission to bring Tuscany to new international audiences in an exceptional synergy between two media platforms.”
Featuring a selection of carefully crafted stories for lovers of Tuscan culture, the magazine will be entirely in Spanish and will be released in April.
Issue One La Mirada Lenta (“Slow Gaze”) will be distributed in hotels, restaurants and places that are popular with Spanish-speaking communities in and around Florence.
