The former Santo Stefano al Ponte Church in piazza di Santo Stefano is transformed with Banksy’s street art from November 26 to February 26 in an immersive experience. Created by Crossmedia Group in collaboration with curator Gianni Mercurio and Madinart, the spaces are projected with Banksy’s instantly recognizable works, with images, sounds and music conjuring Bristol’s underground culture.
On November 27, set off from historic San Niccolò and climb the centuries-old streets until you reach Arcetri and the Certosa di Firenze, enjoying a delicious lunch at the Antica Certosa restaurant before taking a guided tour of the fascinating Certosa. The event is organized by The Florentine and led by licensed guide Jennifer Deckert.

The Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore hosts the first performance of the play Con il Cielo Dentro at 9.15pm on November 24. With words by Davide Rondoni, staging by Giancarlo Cauteruccio and original music by Roberto Fabbriciani, it’s produced by the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore in collaboration with the Krypton Studio Theater, interpreting the story of the centuries-old cathedral.

Alessandra Parrini presents her poetry collection, Starfish, On Propkopios Shoreline or Homage to Palomar published by Kemonia Edizioni from 5-6pm at The British Institute library on December 1. The book presentation will feature music by pianist Peter Dulborough. Part of proceedings made from sales of the book will go to the charitable organization Tulimè.
