Urban Trekking: Edwardian Residents vol.6

A 6km (2 hour) walk in the footsteps of the early 20th century Anglo-Florentines takes you to discover the Edwardian community of Florence when it was “more English than England”. The tour guided by Sabrina Scardigli includes Palazzo Winston-Gattai in piazza d’Azeglio, Gran Caffé Doney in via Tornabuoni, and Pensione Bertolini of Forster’s A Room with a View fame. Meeting in piazza Santa Croce, on December 7, 14 and 21 at 10.30AM. Cost 15 euro (plus 2 euro if radio guides needed). An aperitivo or brunch follows (not included). Reservations by email
