George Clooney Writes Letter to Townspeople

In an attempt to smooth contentions with neighbours, actor George Clooney recently sent a letter out to all of the inhabitants of Laglio, the small town on the shores of Lake Como, where he recently acquired a villa. The letter explained his true intentions behind his proposal to also acquire the beach next to his villa. Clooney claims he did not intend to strip townspeople of a public beach, but had planned to restore it from its degraded conditions for the benefit of the public
