Giuseppe Povia won the 56th annual Italian music extravaganza at San Remo on Saturday March 4. His catchy song ‘Vorrei avere il becco’(I’d like to have a beak) was voted best song of the 2005 edition by home viewers. The young artist, who now resides near Florence, first became popular on the music scene last year with his hit ‘Quando i bambini fanno oh’ (When children go oh). A worryingly low number of TV viewers watched the event this year even  though music superstars like Pausini, Ramazzotti and Bocelli were all at the festival.
