Florentine secondary school
with a sports focus is expected to open later this year. Fiorentina School, a
liceo scientifico (scientific high school), will offer an innovative
curriculum, combining the best academic requirements with in-depth sports
training. In particular, it will serve those who have difficulty balancing
sport and academic studies at school.

 

 

The school is a partnership with the
Istituto dei Padri Scolopi di Firenze-Scuole Pie Fiorentine and ACF Fiorentina.
On January 19 and February 16,
the public is invited to an open house, a time when they can tour the
facilities and meet the teachers. Registration for the 2013-2014 school year is
already open, and applications are being accepted until February 28. (For

Extra-curricular
sports activities will be offered in collaboration with ACF Fiorentina and
Giovani Promesse Viola, the youth club of the ACF Fiorentina.

 

The FLIC
project has helped restore other monuments in the city but more landmarks still
