30 photographs in black and white and in color show Florence during lockdown. The Covid-19 pandemic has not only had an impact on us as individuals but also on our surroundings, forcing us to seek a new meaning to the sense of loss that Matteo Mascotto presents us with in his photography during the 61 days we spent shut in our homes.
About the author
Matteo Mascotto became a film and photography enthusiast after graduating from college. A Florence transplant, he wrote and directed three short films and a featurette between 2013 and 2020. His most recent work, Mia, was produced by the Fair Play film production company.
