In a city hard hit by the pandemic and isolation, suddenly, a beautiful woman appears who no one knows but who fascinates everyone. The appearance of the unknown woman becomes almost a daily occurrence that, each time, subtly alters the feelings and emotions of the observer.
Slowly but surely, the city comes back to life and the locals resume meeting and talking. The mysterious figure remains in the foreground who, by her mere presence, conditions and determines the rebirth of city life.
But who is this curious female figure? What can her story be? What is her secret? In an engaging and intricately allegorical manner, Guarducci creates a fascinating contemporary fairy tale that describes these days, what we are and what we will become following the pandemic that has dramatically affected the whole world.
About the author
Fabrizio Guarducci was trained in the social and human concepts of Giorgio La Pira. After having taken part in the Underground movement at the end of the 1960s in the United States and having encountered Guy Debord in France, he became a convinced member od Situationism. He founded the Department of Cultural Anthropology at the International Institute Lorenzo de’ Medici in Florence. He has taught Mysticism, Aesthetics and Thanalogy, dedicating himself to the research of languages as tools to improve individual interiority and positively transform the reality around us.
