On December 26, state broadcaster RAI will launch a new channel devoted entirely to Italian culture. Based in Milan, the new channel, RAI 5, replaces Extra RAI, and will feature reports, documentaries, talks shows and in-depth programmes on travel, fashion, music, cinema, theatre, dance and the fine arts.
