Although the municipal website (www.comune.fi.it), launched 18 months ago, offers a wide array of online services that would help save residents the inconvenience of long lines and wait times at municipal offices, Florentines are not yet making use of the service. Data reveals that just one Florentine out of 1,000 currently accesses the city’s online service. In response, the city of Florence has launched a campaign to inform the public of the time that could be saved and the convenience of the municipal website.
