Florence super in the silver bowl

The Serie B national Italian American football championship was held last week and Florence’s team, Guelfi, managed to claim victory. Since its creation six years ago, the team has managed to win 4 finals and 2 semi-finals. City officials have already designated newer and better training fields at the large sporting area that is being constructed at San Bartolo a Cintoia in order to promote the success of American-style football in Florence. The team hopes that it will soon be promoted to the Serie A Golden Bowl championships.
