From May through June, medical practitioners at the Meyer pediatric trauma centre and officials at the British Institute in Florence will offer the English-speaking community a series of lectures on childhood and family health matters. Instructors from the Harvard School of Medicine discussed safeguarding children from poisonous substances on May 10. Upcoming sessions include how to child-proof homes (May 20) and how to manage childhood illness while abroad (May 27).
