Chiorba or
testone:
A large head. Stubborn
or obstinate.

 

Example: Tu se’ prorpio un testone, duro
come I’ marmo!

((You sure are
stubborn! Your head’s as hard as marble!’)

 

O che chiorba c’ha  i’ su’ omo!? Sembra la custodia della mia!

((What a head her
boyfriend has! Mine could fit inside it!’)

 

Fori (fuori): Outside.
Crazy.

 

Example: L” andato ffri in giardino. ((He’s outside in the garden.’)

 

Te tt sei di ffri. ((You’re
crazy.’)

 

Aghetti: Shoelaces.

 

Example: Maremma bona! Mi ss rotto
l’aghetto! ((Shoot! My
shoelace broke!’)
