‘Grand yachts will soon enter the ancient Medician port, just like those that are being built by Livorno ship builder Azimuth,’ said president of Tuscany, Enrico Rossi, following news that the regional council will likely approve a plan to considerably enlarge the port in Livorno. ‘There will be more room for ship building activites and more spots for boats both large and small,’ Rossi explained. The new port is expected to hold some 600 medium- and large-sized boats; smaller boats that are currenlty docked at the port will be transfered to another location along the coast.
