Massimiliano Morelli from Livorno may win the competition for one of the jobs advertised as ‘the best in the world’ by Tourism Australia: park ranger in Queensland, Australia.

Morelli, 29, a biologist, has been a nature guide in Kenya. He is one of 350,000 people from 196 countries who applied for the six positions in Australia.

Applicants were asked to create a 30-second video explaining why they should get the job. Along with Morelli, five other Italians have passed the first stage of the competition, and the 150 selected now have two weeks to present references in support of their application.
