As the holiday season approaches and 2013 draws to a close, it’s a time of celebration yet reflection, too. To conclude TF’s ninth year of publication, we celebrate a star-studded twelve months, in which The Florentine was mentioned in Dan Brown’s bestselling book, Inferno, and our culture editor Jane Fortune won an Emmy Award.

This “ink issue” marks a move “from doodles to digital”. TF are off on their Christmas holidays now. The next issue comes out on January 16, 2014, but—as our new year’s resolution—it’ll Christmas tree-friendly and not on paper. Intrigued? Don’t worry, The Florentine will be going digital-only FOR THE MOMENT, and it’s set to be a bumper issue with more multimedia content and interactive information than usual.

Be sure you don’t miss the fabulous digital issue: 1) Our newsletter readers will already have access, so make sure you’re signed up for that (there’s a space on the homepage to do so)

2) SUBSCRIBE to The Florentine on paper or in PDF – there’s a fabulous PDF subscription sale going on right now, just 10 euros for the whole year, a 50% discount!
