Florence’s museums have had a positive start to the year, with a 13 percent increase in visitors and a 47 percent gain in proceeds compared to the same period in 2013. Palazzo Vecchio has welcomed 32,000 visitors (nearly +12 percent); the Brancacci Chapel 4,645 (+15 percent); the Santa Maria Novella complex 21,541 (+10 percent); and the Stefano Bardini museum, currently hosting the Aldo Fallai, from Giorgio Armani to the Renaissance exhibit with Villa Bardini, has counted 1,138 visitors (+117 percent).
