The Opera del Duomo has just made it easier to share your impressions and access information while in piazza Duomo with the installation of a powerful free wi-fi service!
The new service, which uses a WiFinity hotspot, uses an easy login with social media accounts or with your ticket to the Grande Museo del Duomo, if you have one. One hour is free for anyone, while ticket holders get four hours free.
While inside the newly opened Opera del Duomo Museum, visitors can also use the new wi-fi system to download a free app that provides in-depth information about the collections. The museum, which opened in early November 2015, houses important Renaissance sculptures that were intended for the facade of the Duomo and the other monuments in the piazza.
