From September 11 to 13, Artigianato e Palazzo returns to the Corsini Gardens for its 32nd edition, bringing together 100 artisans and young designers in an exhibition that is as much about the creative process as it is about the finished object.

Organized by Sabina Corsini and Neri Torrigiani, the annual event has long offered a unique perspective on craftsmanship. Visitors are invited not simply to admire beautiful things, but to see how they are made. Across the garden and palace, artisans demonstrate their techniques and reveal the often-invisible journey from raw materials and inherited knowledge to contemporary design.

The theme, Reconnecting with Nature, adds another dimension to that conversation. Nature becomes not merely a source of aesthetic inspiration, but the starting point of the creative process itself. This year’s exhibition extends beyond the traditional format with three immersive projects that introduce installations, sound and architecture into the gardens. Among the highlights is Linfa. La Filosofia dello Stupore, a site-specific installation by Jonathan Bocca. In the secluded Orto delle Monache, Michel Vecchi presents Bosco Sonoro,a land art installation exploring the relationship between nature, transformation and human perception. Completing the immersive programme is the Thòlos Pavilion by CanyaLab, a bamboo structure conceived as a meeting point between sustainable materials and traditional craftsmanship.

In the Giardinetto delle Rose and Orto delle Monache, visitors can take part in educational workshops organized by social cooperatives, attend the Conversations with… series featuring exhibitors, experts and partners, and bring younger visitors to children’s workshops organized by the Ferragamo Foundation. The Giardino Segreto will host a display of vintage cars belonging to Prince Filippo Corsini, alongside a brunch experience by Ditta Artigianale.

Open daily from 10am to 7.30pm.

Admission is by a minimum donation of 12 euro, with free entry for visitors under 25.

On September 11, from 10am to 1pm, free access is available to members of ADSI, FAI Toscana, Garden Club Italia and Lions Club Firenze, as well as members of The British Institute of Florence, TCI cardholders, Rinascentecard holders and Rinascente employees. Artigianato e Palazzo ticket holders can visit the Ferragamo Museum free of charge during the weekend. The Firenze 50’ 60’ 70’exhibition at Villa Bardini is also available at a reduced rate: €5 for the exhibition alone or €8 for a combined ticket covering the exhibition and the Villa Bardini gardens.
