The recently published book ‘Natura e Vedute in Toscana’, is a collection of vistas of beautiful and lesser known landscapes in Tuscany shot by photographer Alfonso Carpentieri. Organized into five chapters, each with five different theme ranging from sea, to woods to Val d’Orcia and the ‘Balze’ of Valdarno, the black and white photographs bring to light some wonderful ‘hidden’ areas of Tuscany. An introduction to each chapter is written in both Italian and English. To inaugurate the book’s publication, an exhibition of the actual photographic prints has been installed at McRae’s Books in Via dei Neri, 32/R. The show will be on display until April 1st.
