Put to pasture

As of Jan. 1, 2007, older cars, motorcycles, scooters, vans and trucks will not be allowed to circulate within the city parameters from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Tuesday to Thursday. The vehicles banned from circulating during these times/days are: diesel Euro 1 cars, motorcycles and large Euro 0 transport trucks that can carry over 3.5 tons. These regulations, however, are in vigor only for drivers who are less than 65 years of age. For Euro 0 and Euro 1 cars and motor vehicles circulating without a special permit, municipal police will fine drivers 71 Euro.
