The event organized by LGBT groups from all over Tuscany began the procession in piazza d’Azeglio crossing through central Florence and ending in piazza Indipendenza.

Tuscan president Enrico Rossi and Florence mayor Dario Nardella both attended the event (albeit not in an official capacity) as well as countless mayors from towns across the region.

During the procession a minute’s silence was observed for the victims of the Orlando tragedy.
