A new
regional bylaw was recently passed by the Tuscan Region reducing the rates of
water service by 50 percent for the victims of the November floods. The measure
applies to all regional areas affected by the natural disaster, among them
Grosseto and Massa-Carrara, as well as Lucca, Arezzo, Pisa, Pistoia and Siena. The
tariff reductions will be in force until December 2013.
