Starting from Prato and then heading off around the world, Stracci is a documentary that addresses the issue of the environmental impact of the fashion industry. At the heart of the story is an extraordinary, centuries-old and highly topical circular economy experience, that of the recycling of wool by the textile industries in the Prato district. The documentary was created by Tommaso Santi and Silvia Gambi with the poster by Marco Badiani, produced by Kove in collaboration with Solo Moda Sostenibile.

Going from Prato to Ghana and taking in Pakistan, the USA and the Isle of Wight, the journey follows the route of used clothing, featuring interviews with entrepreneurs that detail the production cycle. The power of the circular economy is its core message, the potential of which was illustrated in the documentary by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, one of the most authoritative voices on this topic.

Available on Amazon Prime, in Italy and in over fifty English-speaking countries including the USA, Canada, Great Britain and Australia, the documentary is free to view for all Amazon Prime subscribers.
