It has been another
record season for the Tuscan basketball team from Siena, the Mens Sana, which
has won its seventh national league title, its sixth consecutively. The
team has remained the undisputed champion of Italy since 2007, adding to their
successes four Italy Cup wins, and five Italian Super Cup victories. This year,
other top teams in the premier league from Milan and Cantù gave the Mens Sana a
run for their money, but Siena confidently took the podium this June. Play was
dominated by Siena’s American-Macedonian star player, Bo McCalebb.
