Results of the Monitoregione poll showed that Italy’s best-loved governors are Luca Zaia, president of the Veneto region, and Vasco Errani, from Emilia Romagna, each with a 60 percent satisfaction rate.

Others in the top 10 include Roberto Formigoni (Lombardy) in fourth place with 54.2 percent, (dropping 5.8 percent since the previous poll); Renata Polverini (Lazio) in fifth place with 54.1 percent, the only female in the list; Renzo Tondo (Friuli Venezia Giulia) in sixth place with 53.9 percent; followed by Giuseppe Scopelliti (Calabria), with 53.8 percent and Raffaele Lombardo (Sicilia).
