Extremely
popular with both foreign tourists and locals, the seaside town of Jesolo, in
the Veneto region, attracts an ever-growing number of beach-loving Russians,
who represent 6.8 percent of tourists to the area every summer. Russian tour
operators recently made a very special inquiry: is there a nude beach in
Jesolo? ‘We’d like to know if there is a section beach in Jesolo for nudists,’
tour operators asked the Jesolo Tourism Consortium at a recent conference.
According to tour operators, the demand for nudist beaches is high among
Russians taking a seaside holiday.
