San Remo turns 60

What do you get when you put a singing prince, a song about euthanasia and Susan Boyle in the same theatre? The 60th San Remo music festival. Hosted by Italian TV presenter Antonella Clerici, the five-day music fest kicked off on February 15 with a bevy of international stars, including Jennifer Lopez, Tokyo Hotel, Robbie Williams, Queen Rania of Jordan, American actress Michelle Rodriguez and French DJ Bob Sinclair. Among the Italian musical talents who performed were former winner Toto Cutugno, Neapolitan sensation Nino D’Angelo, and Tuscan singer Irene Grandi.
