In
collaboration with Syracuse University in Florence, Palazzo Strozzi will hold
English-language workshops for children ages 7 to 10 years old, exploring the
exhibit Women in Power: Caterina and Maria de’ Medici. On Saturday mornings
from 10 to noon, kids can travel back in time with activities in the
gallery and marvel at the amazing art created for these two queens. In the
laboratory they can put that inspiration to work and create their very own
objects of power. The exhibition is open daily from 9am to 8pm and on Thursdays from 9am to 11pm through February 8. For more information, call
055/2645155 or visit www.palazzostrozzi.org. Reservations required.
