Worldwide Mardi Gras, Carnival 2009

This year’s seventh annual Mardi Gras celebration
promises to be the best one yet. Get a good spot along the route and grab your
confetti to toss as you watch the dancers and musicians shimmy and shake their
way to Fat Tuesday. The colourful parade will wind its way through the centre
of Florence to Piazza della Signoria and will include children and adults of
different ages and backgrounds in their traditional costumes. The fun kicks off
