Fans of Andrea Bocelli currently have the chance to bid on a game of chess with the maestro, among other experiences.

Teatro del Silenzio

Until September 18, the online bidding marketplace for special objects Catawiki is offering a series of opportunities to experience some of Bocelli’s favourite hobbies such as art and chess. The experiences are part of a strategic partnership with the Andrea Bocelli Foundation to raise funds for ABF Voices of, a project aimed at encouraging responsibility among disadvantaged young people through choir participation.

“Chess has been my faithful leisure companion ever since I was a little boy,” writes Andrea Bocelli on the website. “Playing chess has helped form my firm belief that nothing happens by chance in this world. And that luck, in life as in the game of chess, plays no part.”

Other experiences include a visit to Tenuta Poggioncino, the singer’s childhood home; tickets to the 2023 Teatro del Silenzio; and a Dolce & Gabbana scarf worn by the artist, in addition to several autographed items.
