Speciality coffee shop FLUID reopened today with a new menu and a more committed sustainable approach in the Sant’Ambrogio part of Florence.
Glowing with an international design-driven vibe (think neon lettering, white tiles, plus orange and yellow accents), coffee lovers cannot go wrong with the blends provided by owner Le Piantagioni del Caffè, the Livorno-based roasting company devoted to premium coffee.
Italian latte art champion Chiara Bergonzi headed up the bar at the reopening, coaxing quality plant-based Alpro beverages into frothy works of art. Chatting away to customers, the atmosphere is exactly what people are looking for in a coffee shop today: expertise with a friendly feel. The baristas at FLUID are all passionate about the specialty coffee industry and knowledgeable about the coffees served, their flavours and aromas, production and brewing methods.
“We have listened to locals, who asked for a simpler, more accessible menu that’s closer to their daily needs,” remarked Iacopo Bargoni, CEO, and Giuseppe Adelardi, marketing manager of FLUID. “We took the opportunity to tweak the layout and design for easier interactions at the bar and cash desk. We’re delighted to have organized a reopening event with our new partner Alpro and to have Chiara Bergonzi as our special guest to shine a light on the reopening and the collaboration. FLUID is changing, just like its name and mission, listening to our customers and speciality coffee lovers.”
International fare makes up the reworked menu, from croque monsieur to quiches, savoury croissants, sandwiches and salads. Those with a sweet tooth can dive into a plate of pancakes or a generous slice of carrot, chocolate or yogurt cake.
