With 265 locations in more than 70 countries, the Hard Rock Cafe needs no introduction. This September, its Florence venue sees sports enthusiasts drawn to the F1 live-streaming, while Freddie Mercury fans won’t want to miss the Killer Queen dinner.
F1 live-streaming
On September 3, get to Hard Rock Cafe Firenze to view the Red Bull Racing F1 live-streaming from Monza. A dedicated racing menu revs things up a gear, with onion piston rings, turbocharged classic nachos and tailgate Tupelo chicken tenders putting a pun spin on things.
Freddie for a Day
Follow it up with a special Killer Queen in concert to celebrate Freddie Mercury from 8pm on September 5, with booking online. The rocking menu stars hits like ‘A kind of magic’ legendary burger, the ‘Want to break free’ spicy Diablo burger, and, of course, the ‘We are the champions’ Messi burger. The event also serves to honour what would be the legend’s 77th birthday.
Rush & Cisco acoustic duo
The acoustic duo will perform from 9pm on September 8 with songs ranging from Soul to R&B to Pop Rock. Formed in 2018, Cisco Falconi’s rhythmic and percussive guitar joins together with Nadyne Rush’s voice to treat audiences to a varied repertoire.
Bowie Bluebird, a tribute to David Bowie
From 9pm on September 15, the Bowie Bluebirds will take to the stage of the cafe in piazza della Repubblica for an evening dedicated to the legend, David Bowie. The tribute band is made up by Cris Pinzauti on vocals and guitar, together with Federico Sagona and Lorenzo Bartolini.
Black Bells, AC/DC Tribute
The AC/DC tribute band blasts hits from 9pm on September 22, with a high-voltage rock n’ roll show.
Other events lined up this month include:
- Italian national rugby team matches are streamed, with the next match shown from 5.45pm on September 20, Italy – Uruguay. A dedicated menu will be available.
