Our summer has been spent working and dreaming on our new adventure. Here in The Florentine we are proud to launch our joint manifesto. Born out of Hotel Number Nine and Daisy’s Firenze over the coming months—and, we are sure, years—we will be launching a series of new initiatives made specifically for the residents and guests of this great city.
October will see the launch of Nine Vita, with its dedicated Pilates studio, cosmetic dermatology, massages and facials open to all. Do join us at the Nine Weekends on October 7-8 and 14-15 for the full experience of what is on offer, including personal beauty consultations and day spa access, plus celebrations with Arachel Dolphie and the Daisy’s Musicians. During these weekends we will also be opening our new Nine Bistro, with simple high-quality seasonal produce, extraordinary table settings and first-class service where, from 8am to 8pm, you can stop in and escape in our chic oasis next to the Triangolo Mediceo in Florence’s city center.
In November we will be opening our private members club, Club Nine. With a new dedicated members area, beautiful meeting and smart working spaces, gym studio and spa, alongside a whole host of benefits and regular complementary events, we aim to create a vibrant and rewarding life for our community here in Florence. We also have high hopes to realise an indoor pool veranda for the club, and eventually a social cigar room.
December promises to see the launch of Daisy’s Dining and our Festive Season at Number Nine, starting in fact on Thanksgiving, with a whole host of spectacular events and performances by the Daisy’s line up.
Every month in The Florentine we will be exploring in greater depth each of these new offerings, and we invite you all to visit us at any time to understand more about what we have planned.
What we can say for now is that we will draw our inspiration from the many great personalities of the past and present who nurtured aspiration in all of us. They rendered beautiful elegance simple, chic and accessible, and all they created remained always iconic. Do not expect modern hyper-luxury from us, but in a world where institutions of great quality like Harry’s Bar continue to close, we will always strive to champion authenticity. Above all it will be with a joie de vivre that we will aim to continuously express ourselves, in this our new project of a lifetime. In contrast to the world of over-crowded tourism, ubiquitous corporate structures and experiences, false and expensive luxury, we will strive to be an intimate family affair, full of fun, elegance and joy.
However, we cannot do this alone. We invite you all personally to take part in this theatrical stage, and to help us create something beautiful and long-lasting for this city and all those that live here.
