Viola Bartoli has been chosen to illustrate Issue One of TheFLR. The Florentine Literary Review.

 

Just 22 years old, Viola was born in Pesaro, in the Italian region of Marche, where she attended ISA F.Mengaroni graduating with a diploma in commercial graphic design. She completed her studies in animated design at Scuola del Libro di Urbino publishing school.

To date she has been shortlisted in numerous contests, including BilBolBul, Notte di Fiaba and DisegniDiversi. She received a special mention at Lucca junior 2014. Her illustrations were used to promote the 2015 Open Day at the Scuola del Libro di Urbino and for the show “Promosso più due – Dodici favole al telefono di Gianni Rodari” at Teatro La Fenice in Senigallia.

 

She teaches engraving and ceramic decoration in the hills around Urbino.

 

She never stops drawing. Not for a second.
