The apartment where one of Italy’s best-loved comedians and actors, Antonio De Curtis, known as Totò, was born, has been taken over by marjiuana-growers. Police arrested a young married couple, who were growing marijuana in the apartment, which is located on via Santa Maria Antesecula in the Naples district of Sanità. Police confiscated nine cannabis plants and other equipment in the home where Totò was born in February 1898. A museum dedicated to the comedian is located nearby, in Palazzo dello Spagnolo.
