Art experiences in the heart of Florence

Make the most of your precious time in Florence by experiencing art and culture hands-on at our gallery, located in the famous Oltrarno.

We are offering 2 different experiences, held in English.

Learn the traditional Florentine Gold Leaf technique (gilding).

Participants will be given a paperweight of their choice, and will be instructed on the process of applying a special glue (missione), gold leaf, fixing agent and finally the wax and bitumen to age the piece.

A very rewarding experience that concludes with you bringing your amazing decorative object home.

Duration 2 hours, cost 95€.

Sculptural composition of your Florentine coat of arms.

Participants will be given the choice of 50+ Renaissance elements in order to compose your own unique design for a coat of arms. Silicone will be poured on top, and, once it’s cured, the positive copy will be constructed with the help of a special resin. Gold leaf will be applied to finish the piece.

Duration 4/5 hours, cost 190€.
