FITC is proud to present its first musical
offering: The Fantasticks!, the longest running musical in the history
of theatre. Loosely based on Les Romanesques by Edmond Rostand, The
Fantasticks! opened in New York City on May 3, 1960 and played 17,162
performances before closing 42 years later, on January 13, 2002.  FITC’s international cast representing
seven countries brings a fresh interpretation to this story of love-and life-to
the newly restored Teatro di Cestello. An irresistible romantic and funny
musical with a story of first love, love lost, and-eventually-true love. It
will capture your hearts with beloved classic songs such as ‘Try To Remember’ and
‘Soon It’s Gonna Rain.’ Performances November 27, 28, 29 at 9pm and November 30
at 4pm. In English with Italian subtitles. To purchase tickets, write info@florencetheatre.com or head to
The Paperback Exchange via delle Oche 4/R.
