In light of the upcoming European Parliament Elections (May 22-25, 2014), the European University Institute, along with the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies and the EUDO, have developed an online voting advice application.

In order to better understand which party matches your personal preferences, the free online application consists of 30 questions to be answered on a scale from ‘completely agree’, to ‘completely disagree’. Questions and statements range from ‘The EU should strengthen its security and defence policy’, to ‘Should individual member states should have less veto power?’

After ranking question topics in order of importance, you are shown various political parties and asked, on a scale of 0-10, how likely you would be to vote for them. The results are calculated and you are matched to a political party, which best matches your political views, based on the initial questions.

So, if you’re at a loss as to who to vote for in the upcoming European elections, perhaps the application, euandi, can help! Visit www.euandi.eu to discover your political preferences.
