Love, dreams and fantasy meet in this fantastical telling of Hoffmann‘s fairy tale, with enchanting scenography and traditional costumes creating an unforgettable performance. The festive favourite includes all the charming symbols of the season, from a Christmas tree and snowflakes to toy soldiers and sweets. Delighting audiences of all ages, Clara and the ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’ will glide you into the holiday period in spectacular style.

The Nutcracker

Showcasing Marius Petipa’s original choreography, the graceful dancers rivet the imagination. The tale is set on Christmas Eve in the early 19th century, beginning with Drosselmeyer, an eccentric inventor of toys, who is invited to the mayor’s house where the games begin. From the Mouse King seeking to kidnap the Princess to the brave Nutcracker stepping in to save her, the impeccable movements of the talented ballerinas cast a spell over all present.

Principal dancers of the Opera Națională Română Iași, Viviana Olaru and Cristian Preda, weave together a magnificent recounting of the Christmas classic, with audiences left spellbound.
