World Cup-winning coach Mar-cello Lippi said he is not excluding a possible return to soccer. After a yearlong sabbatical from sport, Lippi recently told the press ‘I’m ready to lead a club side now. If a serious club with a serious squad and project came in for me then I would be ready. I really want to start working at certain levels again and it doesn’t matter where, whether in Italy or abroad’. On rumors that he might return as Azzuri coach, Lippi commented ‘I will leave all doors open. I have learned in this world that you can never say never’. One of the world’s best football tacticians, Lippi led Italy to the World Cup and Juventus to five scudetti and one Champions League title.
