Rarely displayed, until November 2, Lippi’s roundels will be on public view at the San Gimignano civic picture gallery.

In addition to the roundels, the exhibition features exquisite drawings by Lippi, dating from 1482 to 1484, on loan from the Uffizi’s Department of Drawings and Prints. The exhibition also features the documents related to the commission of the Annunciation, preserved for more than 500 years in the municipal archive of San Gimignano.
