Please note: a previously announced strike of ticket office and other workers in State museums has been cancelled.
Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015
All state museums are operating under normal festive hours. In addition, since it is the first Sunday of the month, all state run museums in Italy are free. This is part of the movement “Domenica al museo,” an initiative to promote increased attendance at museums. State museums in Florence include the Uffizi, Accademia, Medici Chapels and others.
