The Florentine recently threw its doors open to visitors from the International School of Florence (ISF).

Accompanied by their teachers, more than 30 11-year-olds came to the paper’s offices in via dei Banchi to learn all about journalism. Impeccably behaved and full of enthusiasm, the children asked questions about how to make a newspaper and write stories.

ISF and TF hope to make the visit an annual event as part of community outreach for both Florentine institutions.
