Start Up House, the Tuscan Region’s new program for young entrepreneurs, will disperse two million euro in grants to help small start-ups furnish and renovate their office spaces. Selected businesses will have six months in which to expend the funds awarded to them. Overseen by the Sviluppo Toscana organisation, Start Up House is a companion program to the Tuscan Region’s Giovanisì initiative.

In making the announcement, councillor for economic production Gianfranco Simoncini explained, ‘We are currently in phase two of the pilot project Start Up House, which offers support, including logistic help, to anyone who has ideas to propose, but lacks the resources to put them into action. To get out of this economic crisis, we all need the intelligence, creativity, energy and dynamism of young people.’

Applications can be submitted online until April 13 at www.sviluppo.toscana.it/infrastartup
